This self-catering Crystal Apartment is perfect for a family with two children.
On the ground floor, with a spacious deck overlooking the swimming pool, the apartment is fully equipped as your home-base during your holiday.
It has its own entrance, dining / lounge area, as well as a fully equipped compact kitchen.
The bedroom with king size bed (or two singles) has a bathroom en suite costing of shower, basin and loo. This apartment does not have a bath.
The lounge has a couch that folds out to make up a queen size bed (or two singles) for the children. It is not recommended that adults sleep on the sleeper couch.
The stunning patio overlooks the valley of Hout Bay, enjoying pink skies to the east at dawn and orange couloured mountains as the sun sets at dusk.
Even though the apartment is set-up to be self-catering, guests are invited to join our breakfast in the dining area of the guest house each morning between 8am and 10am.

Booking Terms
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
The Salt House is a family-friendly Guest House, however, we take no responsibility for any injury / damage caused to any person on the property. Children are the sole responsibility of their parents / guardians. Our swimming pool and jungle gym facilities are used at one’s own risk.
SMOKING
The Salt House is a no-smoking Guest House, with the exception of a designated smoking area in the garden lapa.
CANCELLATIONS
Applicable to Guests who have secured a booking by providing the 50% deposit.
- Cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival / non-arrival on date of check-in without notice = 100% of accommodation will be retained.
- Cancellation less than 28 days prior to arrival = 75% of accommodation will be retained.
- Cancellation less than 42 days prior to arrival = 50% of accommodation will be retained.
- Cancellation less than 56 days prior to arrival = 25% of accommodation will be retained.
RATES
Nightly rates are per room and include breakfast. The number of guests advertised per room is the maximum number allowed in the room. No additional requests will be allowed.
Children 0 – 4 years stay free, 5 – 12 years pay an extra R200 per night.
SAFETY & SECURITY
Although the Guest House management takes responsible steps to ensure the safety and security of all guests and their possessions, guests retain final responsibility for their own safety and security.
